Rector Amany Lubis inaugurates 1141 new graduates
Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis inaugurates 1141 graduates. The inauguration ceremony and open senate session was held at the Harun Nasution Auditorium building, campus I of UIN Jakarta, Saturday (02/26/2022).
The university open senate session titled “Memperkuat Pertahanan Negara dengan Generasi Islami” was chaired by the Head of University senate and attended by Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs, Vice Rectors, Deans, and Professors
Also present in the inauguration ceremony, the Indonesian Army Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurahcman who had the opportunity to deliver his speech at this event.
The newly inaugurated graduates consist of 1,087 people from undergraduate programs, 40 master’s program (S2), and 14 doctoral programs (S3). They come from 12 faculties and graduate schools. The details are 254 graduates from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK), 121 graduates from the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), 58 graduates from the Ushuludin Faculty (FU), 142 graduates from the Sharia and Law Faculty (FSH), 131 graduates from the Da'wah and Communications Science Faculty (FDIK), 23 graduates from the Dirasat Islamiyah Faculty (FDI), 32 graduates from the Faculty of Psychology (FPsi), 110 gradautes from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), 42 graduates from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), 42 graduates from the Faculty of Health Sciences (Fikes), 73 graduates from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), 4 graduates from the Faculty of Medicine (FK), and 17 graduates from Graduate School (SPs) UIN Jakarta.
Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her speech said that the graduation theme this time was very relevant to the current condition of the Indonesian nation, which is currently facing various challenges, both natural disasters, economic difficulties due to the pandemic, as well as threats to national unity and integrity.
“Therefore, it is very appropriate if we raise the issue of national resilience as a crucial national issue that is being faced by the Indonesian nation. Every young generation, especially the younger generation of Islam, must play an active a role and be at the forefront in protecting the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from various threats, both from within and from outside,” said Rector Amany.
As a graduate of UIN Jakarta, according to Amany, the younger Muslims generation must provide positive contribution to the development of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. “In addition to religious field, graduates of UIN Jakarta must be able to make various contributions to development in the social, economic, political, and even technological fields,” she said.
In this context, the younger generation of Muslims who graduate from UIN Jakarta must be able to synergize in order to strengthen the nation's resilience in the present and in the future.
For information, 16 graduates are chosen as the best graduates based on their GPA (Grade Point Average). They are; Nasiha Syaqina Laily (FITK) with 3.9 of GPA, Aden Achmaduddin Kamil El-Warits (FAH) with 3.98 of GPA, Eli Qurniawaty (FU) with 3.84 of GPA, Nur Fadhilah Novianti (FSH) with 3.95 of GPA, Muhammad Fauzi Nurdin (FDIK) with 3.94 of GPA, Anis Fitrina (FDI) with 3.83 of GPA, Varasy Nurani Zahara (FPsi) with 3.84 of GPA, Neng Zulfa Azhar (FEB) with 3.9 of GPA, Salsabila Ramadhina (FST) with 3.98 of GPA, Shafira Rahmania (Fikes) with 3.81 of GPA, and Shelfy Nujuliyani (FISIP) with 3.85 of GPA.
For the faculty master’s program; Iis Susiawaty (FITK Master’s program) with 3.93 of GPA, Bobby Hartanto Trilaksono (FDIK Master’s program) with 4.00 of GPA, Edwin Indrawardhana (FPsi Master’s program) with 3.87 of GPA, and Rafigah Lusitania Isma (FEB Master’s program) with 3.79 of GPA. Meanwhile, for the Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Jakarta, Dini Permana Sari (SPs Doctoral program) with 3.91 of GPA.
