Rector: Alumni must maintain the good name of the alma mater

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Rector Amany Lubis asked the Alumni of UIN Jakarta to maintain the good name of alma mater through their positive contribution in various fields. Their positive role is considered very essential in building UIN Jakarta's academic and institutional image in the eyes of the Ummah.

This was said by the Rector in her speech at the 115^th graduation ceremony, Sunday (02/23/2020), held at the Harun Nasution Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

“To maintain the good name of the alma mater, you must prioritize the integrity and responsibility in your chosen profession. A professional must perform professional services with integrity and upholds virtuous moral behaviors,” she said.

In addition, the alumni are expected to improve their knowledge in order to increase their quality. “Please study more deeply, and continue to contribute positively, whether as an entrepreneur, cleric, or in other professional fields,” said Rector.

For information, UIN Jakarta held the 115^th graduation ceremony for 1308 graduates from undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs. The graduation ceremony itself took place in two sessions. The first session was held on Saturday (02/22/2020), and the second session was held on Sunday (02/23/2020). (usa/zm)
