Ranita Send Volunteers to Lombok

Rectorate, UIN News Online - Ranita UIN Jakarta sent two volunteers to the location of natural disasters in Lombok. The release of volunteers was carried out by the Head of the Division of Talent Development and Student Interest Raden Trisno Muh. Riyadhi in the Rector Building Park, Monday (08/06/2018).

One of the volunteers from UKM Ranita, Mujahidin (students of the Department of Al-Qur'an Science and the Interpretation of the Faculty of Ushuluddin in semester 9) said that the preparations were done well enough. Mujahidin claimed that he had previously been involved in a disaster location, so he had experience in handling it. Besides Mujahideen, other volunteers were Tia Apriliani, a student of the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, semester 9.

Regarding the activities will be carried out, Mujahidin said that they would see and record the conditions at the earthquake location in advance. "So when we arrived at the location, we immediately collect the data on all the necessities needed. For example, there are children who will be traumatized so later we will send psychologist for healing, "he said.

After sending two volunteers tonight, Ranita plans to send four other additional members who depart on Tuesday (07/08/2018) tomorrow. This additional volunteer departed separately because they adjusted the departure schedule with the TNI AU from Halim Perdanakusuma.

"Maybe later there will be additional volunteers, because we know that the aftershocks that happened are quite severe so there are certainly many volunteers needed. But whoever volunteers will later follow, we are still waiting for confirmation from the TNI AU, "explained the Mujahideen.

Raden Trisno who was present released the volunteers expressed his hope that the volunteers could carry out their duties well, return safely, and be able to maintain the alma mater's good name.

"Volunteers at the earthquake site must also frequently provide information that occurs at the location so that we can mobilize related needs that will be given to the victims," ​​he said.
