RANITA Delegated Four Volunteers for Palu Earthquake

Ciputat, UIN News Online - KMPLHK Ranita UIN Jakarta is about to send its members as delegates in a humanitarian mission to help the earthquake and tsunami victims that occurred in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The release ceremony was led directly by UIN Jakarta Deputy Chancellor of Student Affairs Yusran Razak, Wednesday (10/3/2018).

In his speech Yusran Razak said that the humanitarian mission in helping the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Palu, Central Sulawesi was a calling. The high initiative coordinated by KMPLHK Ranita was highly appreciated by all leaders within the Jakarta UIN.

"The highest appreciation is shown by all leaders of UIN Jakarta to Ranita who quickly took steps to help victims of the earthquake that occurred in Palu, Central Sulawesi," Yusran said.

Furthermore, Yusran Razak advised all volunteers to be more careful in helping victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Palu, Central Sulawesi, given the conditions that were not yet conducive. "Take care of your health while on duty. Don’t let your intention to help others makes you have to be assisted by other volunteers because of illness," said Yusran.

There were four volunteers sent by the Ranita KMPLHK to help victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Palu, Central Sulawesi, including Risma Triyurita, Lien Sururoh, Abdurrahman Hariza and Iqbal Ramadhan. According to the plan they will be in Palu for two weeks which will then be rolled to be replaced with other Ranita volunteers.

"This Departure is aim to help earthquake victims in Palu. They will be there for two weeks," concluded the Chairman of Ranita, Ahmad Barqu Syudjai. (usa-rs)
