PUSTIPANDA UIN Jakarta Launches AIS Mobile App for Android

UNI Club, UIN News Online – Data Centre and Information Technology Division (Pustipanda) of UIN Jakarta launches new Academic Information System (AIS) mobile app for android platform in the AIS mobile socialization program for UIN Jakarta students, Thursday (11/15/2018) at UNI Club, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

Present in the event, UIN Jakarta’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr Fadhillah Suralaga, AAKK Bureau Chief Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I, and Head of Pustipanda Nashrul Hakiem, Ph.D. This event also invites a number of speaker, among them are Nenny Anngraini, MT (FST Lecturer), Supardi M.kom (Pustipanda Development Coordinator) and Rifqy Fajriansyah (Student of FST UIN Jakarta and front-end developer for AIS Mobile app).

Fadhillah Suralaga in her remarks gives her appreciation for this event. She also hoped that the participants can actively participate in following the course of this event. “With the existence of this AIS mobile, it is hoped that it will be easier for students to access various academic information,” she said.

Meanwhile, Pustipanda’s development coordinator Supardi M.Kom in his presentation said that the actual development of AIS Mobile had been carried out since 2012. However, due to its very limited features, this application was not uploaded to the play store.

“With the help of FST lecturers and FST students who are working on the final project, we finally launched the AIS mobile application to the Play Store so it can be used immediately by UIN Jakarta students,” said Supardi.

Meanwhile, Head of Pustipanda of UIN Jakarta Nasrul Hakiem said that pustipanda will accept any input from students if there are features that should be added to this application.

Based on UIN News Online Observation, the participants were very enthusiastic in following the course. This is evidenced by the many questions raised by the participants to the speakers. (usa)
