Pubdok Booth is Crowded by Senior High School Visitors

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Publication and Documentation (Pubdok) Booth in UIN Expo 2017 at UIN Jakarta Rectorate yard, Wednesday, (3/8), is crowded by senior high school visitors. These 12^th grades students had come to the exhibition to find information regarding UIN Jakarta new admissions. They are not only come from the madrassas but also public schools, both public and private.

Pubdok booth becomes a center for visitors who wish to obtain information about education in UIN Jakarta. At this booth, the officers not only provide information related to the reception of new students opened via multiple enrollment systems, but also become a free consultant about majors which will be selected by the prospective students.

“We also provide free consultation for prospective students choose a major based on their interests and abilities,” said one of the officers, Syifa Syarifah.

Tia Oktaviani, the 12^th grade student from SMK Kharismawita 3 Depok, said that she and some of her friends enthusiastically admitted to enroll at UIN Jakarta, in addition to short distance from their home, UIN Jakarta also offers plenty courses that interests them.

“I want to choose Management department of the Faculty of Economics and Business,” she said. To be accepted as UIN Jakarta new student, Tia admitted that she will study hard as possible. “Hopefully I can be accepted at UIN Jakarta,” she hoped.

UIN Expo 2017 was held to welcome the new admissions for 2017/2018 academic year, Exhibitors consist of various faculties and institutes in UIN Jakarta and student activities (SMEs) units at university level. The expo which is officiated by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dede Rosyada MA will lasts until Thursday, (3/9). (usa)
