PSM UIN Jakarta Will Participate in The 4th Asian Pacific Choir Games 2017
Syahida Inn, UIN News Online – PSM UIN Jakarta is getting ready to participate in The 4th Asian Pacific Choir Games 2017 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, (10/23). One of the preparations is to hold an annual concert entitled Kidung Syukur Nusantara, a religious and Nusantara (Folklore) nuance choir performance at Syahida Inn Auditorium, Ciputat, Sunday, (10/8/2017).
In his remarks, Head of PSM UIN Jakarta Ali Machsun revealed that this concert is a farewell concert before they departed to Sri Lanka. In this concert, he continued, PSM UIN Jakarta will perform 3 songs, namely Jali-Jali, Butet, and Bungoong Jeumpa. “Hopefully, PSM UIN Jakarta and can get satisfactory results,” he hoped.
In response, Vice Rector for Students Affair Prof. Dr. Yusron Razak gave his appreciation to PSM UIN Jakarta. “I held a high appreciation for PSM UIN Jakarta which has shown remarkable achievement in both National and International events,” said Yusran.
For Information, PSM UIN Jakarta a part of Student Activity Units and facilitates its members to develop their talents and interest in singing in choir through vocal classes and active in both National and International choir festivals. In the last three years, PSM UIN Jakarta managed to achieve various achievements. Last year, PSM UIN Jakarta managed to get the 3rd winner in the 12th Busan Choral Festival and Competition (BCFC), South Korea. (usa)
