PSGA UIN Jakarta Gave Award of “Great Mothers with Dignity” for Women Lecturers to Commemorate Mother's Day

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN News Online - In commemoration of Mother's Day, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta together with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemenpppa) RI held a Mother's Day Seminar with the theme “Multi Role of Women in the Frame of Mother's Day & Declaration of Women and Children Friendly Campus” as well as giving awards to UIN Jakarta Women Lecturers, Tuesday (17/12/2024).

The award that is given is titled “Great Mother with Dignity”, which appreciates the multiple roles of female lecturers both in the aspect of education and in their families.

“I think all women, all mothers at UIN Jakarta deserve this award. Although, this celebration is being represented by several recipients as a symbol of appreciation for all women at UIN Jakarta. This award reflects their strength, that with various tasks, a woman or mother can still carry on and carry out her role as well,” said Prof. Dr. Dzuriyatun Toyibah, M.Si., one of the awardees, in an interview after the event.

This event is a momentum to appreciate the important role of women, especially female lecturers, who are able to carry out various responsibilities in the professional and family spheres with full dedication.

Appreciation for Women Lecturers in UIN Jakarta

UIN Jakarta Center for Gender and Child Studies (PSGA) also gave awards to female lecturers for their contribution and influence in the academic field. Here is the list of awardees and their contributions:
