Promoting an Eco-Friendly Campus at UIN Jakarta, BJB Tangsel Donates 11 Electric Motorcycles
Rectorate Building, UIN News Online — In order to strengthen synergy and cooperation, Bank of West Java and Banten (Bank BJB) symbolically handed over an electric motor to Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta. The handover ceremony took place in the Main Conference Room, Rectorate Building on Monday (04/11/2024).
UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., accompanied by Vice Rector for General Administration, Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Affairs, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D., Head of General Administration and Personnel Bureau, H. Ahmad Abdullah S.Ag. M.AP., and representatives from the leadership of Bank BJB in his speech appreciated the support of Bank BJB which has provided environmentally friendly facilities for the campus.
“Bank BJB has shown its commitment in strengthening cooperation with UIN Jakarta, and we hope that this facility can help UIN Jakarta reduce carbon emissions, especially in the campus environment,” said Prof. Asep.
Furthermore, the Rector of UIN Jakarta hopes that the cooperation between UIN Jakarta and Bank BJB can continue by presenting innovations and mutually beneficial benefits for both institutions.
In line with the Rector, the Head of Bank BJB Banten Branch expressed his hope that the synergy between Bank BJB and UIN Jakarta can continue to grow. “We are committed to synergize with UIN Jakarta and provide ongoing support. Hopefully this collaboration will bring positive benefits to both parties,” he said.
The event ended with the signing of the minutes of handover (BAST) as official evidence of the handover of the electric motor facility to UIN Jakarta. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that the use of electric motors on campus can support the creation of a greener and more sustainable campus environment.
