Prof. Dr. Suwito Launches Autobiography

SPs, UIN NEWS Online-- Senate Secretary and Professor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Suwito launches autobiography entitled Maybe Everything Perhaps in Auditorium SPs UIN Jakarta, Monday (07/03). This book contains Suwito’s life long journey from childhood to becoming a Professor at UIN Jakarta.

Attending the launch of the book a number of officials and Professors of UIN Jakarta such as the Presidential Advisory Board Member Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik Fajar, Senate Chairman Prof. UIN Jakarta Dr. H.M. Atho Mudzhar MSPD, Prof. Dr. M. Yunan Yusuf, Vice Rector Prof. IV Cooperation Dr. Murodi, M.A., Dean FITK UIN Jakarta Prof Dr. Ahmad Thib Kingdom, M.A. In addition, there were also students and other invited guests.

In his speech, Malik Fajar said, Suwito is a figure of academics who dare to make a change for academic progress. This is evident from its track record over the lead in the Graduate School of UIN Jakarta.

"Making changes there is definitely a risk, but a change is a necessity. And, Suwito has done a lot of changes, especially at the graduate and UIN Jakarta, so now the body that boasts "he said.

In the same occasion, Murodi said, launching his autobiography Professor of the History of Islamic Thought and Education needs to be appreciated. Because, besides honestly expressing yourself, the presence of academics such as Suwito autobiographical figure is important because it could be an example for other scholars in the work for the people.
