Press Release: UIN Jakarta Improves High-Quality Health Service Accessibility for Its Students

Jakarta, UIN Online News - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is committed to continuously improving access and quality of health services for its students hence it encourages students to transfer their BPJS Health service capitation for students to Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital.

"With this capitation transfer, students can obtain faster, more efficient health services that suit their needs on campus," Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., Vice Chancellor for General Administration, explained the transferring policy for BPJS capitation.

In the Announcement Letter Number: B-1136/R/HM.01.1/02/2025 concerning Guarantees and Improvement of Health Service Facilities During the Study Period at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, it is stated that during the study period, UIN Jakarta students will receive health service facilities at the Syarif Hidayatullah Clinic and Hospital. Among the health facilities obtained are as follows:

1. Free health screening;
2. Free health counseling;
3. Free general and dental health checks;
4. Free health laboratory checks;
5. Get a referral to Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital if there are certain conditions that require specialist treatment for free in accordance with the provisions of the BPJS Kesehatan referral flow;
6. Get free emergency services in accordance with BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan standards;
7. Get general practitioner services at Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital 24 hours;
8. Get outpatient, inpatient and critical care services;
9. Specialist polyclinic services as follows:
   1. Internist;
   2. Optometrist;
   3. Pulmonologist;
   4. General Surgeon;
   5. Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist;
   6. Dental Specialists (Orthodontist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Periodontist, Prosthodontist, Endodontist);
   7. Dermatologist and Venereologist;
   8. Medical Rehabilitation Specialist;
   9. Otolaryngologist;
   10. Pediatrist;
   11. Cardiologist;
   12. Neurologist;
   13. Urologist;
   14. Orthopedist and Traumatologist;
   15. Psychologist.
10. 24-hour clinical laboratory services;
11. 24-hour CT scan and radiology services;
12. International vaccination services.

To obtain these facilities and services, students must first: 

1. Shift the health service facilities via AIS/Semesta UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta;
2. Take a screenshot of proof of transfer of health service facilities uploaded to AIS/Semesta UIN.

To transfer health service facilities (Fasyankes), students can perform the following steps:

1. Download the Mobile JKN application;
2. Enter the JKN KIS card number and fill in the NIK, KTP and e-mail address data;
3. Enter the activation number (sent via e-mail);
4. Click "menu" and select "change participant data";
5. Select the name of the participant who will change BPJS Health Facilities;
6. After the *pop-up* window appears that says "Change of Health Facilities I", then fill in the province with "Banten" and the city/district with "South Tangerang City";
7. Select "Health Facilities" and type "UIN" in the search field;
8. Select “UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Clinic” in the search field and click “Save”;
9. A notification will appear for a few moments if the data has been successfully changed;
10. Take a screenshot and upload the screenshot to AIS/Semesta UIN;

Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital, as the health facility partner of the BPJS Kesehatan, has prepared various service improvements: addition of medical personnel, and optimization of a digital-based health service system.
