Press Release: Minister of Religious Affairs Appoints Head of General Administration and Head of Academic Affairs at UIN Jakarta

Ciputat, South Tangerang — The Minister of Religious Affairs, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, inaugurated Echelon II officials and the Head of the Regional Office (Kakanwil) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Riau Province. The inauguration took place at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office on Jl. Lapangan Banteng Barat, Jakarta, Monday (14/10/2024).

The inauguration was led directly by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, who inaugurated a number of echelon II officials and Heads of Regional Offices (Kakanwil) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs from various provinces. 

The Minister inaugurated Ahmad Abdullah as Head of the General Administration and Personnel Bureau, Sri Ilham Lubis as Head of the Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation Bureau of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, and several other officials were also inaugurated in the solemn event.

Present as witnesses in the inauguration procession were the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Muhammad Ali Ramdhani, and the Inspector General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Faisal. In addition, a number of echelon I officials, Special Staff, and Experts of the Minister of Religious Affairs also witnessed this inauguration.

Rector of UIN Jakarta congratulated the elected Head of General Administration and Personnel Bureau and Head of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation Bureau of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. She hopes that the elected Bureau Heads can carry out their duties with trust and can immediately carry out the planned work program. The Rector also emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration between the bureaucracy and the entire academic community to improve service quality and achieve the vision and mission of the university.

The Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta said, “I hope that the newly elected Bureau Heads can carry out their duties with full trust and responsibility. Hopefully they can immediately run the work program well, and be able to build strong synergies for the progress of UIN Jakarta,” he said.

It is known that Dr. Hj Sri Ilham Lubis, Lc., M.Pd., previously served as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning, and Finance (AUPKK) at UIN STS Jambi, and H. Ahmad Abdullah, S.Ag., MAP., previously served as Secretary of the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
