Pra-Leadership Meeting 2026: UIN Jakarta Produces Strategic Recommendations Across Six Key Areas

ADIA Convention Center, Ciputat, UIN News Online — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has concluded its 2026 Pre-Leadership Meeting (Pre-Rakerpim) by formulating a series of strategic recommendations across six major development areas of the university.

The forum was held at the ADIA Convention Center on Tuesday (03/02/2026) under the theme “Strengthening Performance and Human Resource Capacity toward Institutional Transformation.” It brought together university leaders, including the Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans, Directors of Graduate School, Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Institutions, Center Directors, and unit leaders across UIN Jakarta.

The Pre-Leadership Meeting serves as a strategic preparatory stage for the upcoming Leadership Work Meeting (Rakerpim), designed to consolidate institutional direction and evaluate performance through structured discussions in six commissions.

Six Strategic Commissions

The discussions were divided into six commissions covering key transformation areas:

  1. Green Campus and Environmental Transformation
    Commission I focused on strengthening the Green Campus initiative as a core pillar of institutional transformation, including integrated waste management systems and expansion of sustainable campus programs.
  2. Acceleration Toward PTN-BH and Governance Reform
    Commission II emphasized institutional readiness for transformation into a State University with Legal Entity status (PTN-BH), including governance reform and financial sustainability strategies.
  3. Business Unit Development and Financial Independence
    Commission III highlighted the strengthening of university business units as a foundation for financial autonomy and long-term institutional resilience.
  4. Internationalization and Global Competitiveness
    Commission IV focused on enhancing global reputation through international collaboration, academic mobility, and improved performance in global university rankings.
  5. Research, Publication, and Academic Impact
    Commission V discussed strengthening research funding, expanding research groups, and increasing publication output in indexed international journals to boost academic impact.
  6. Digital Transformation and Information Systems
    Commission VI emphasized strengthening IT infrastructure, digital governance systems, and integrated academic platforms to support efficient and modern university operations.

Strategic Direction Toward Institutional Transformation

The recommendations produced from the six commissions are expected to serve as a foundation for UIN Jakarta’s 2026 institutional roadmap, particularly in strengthening governance, accelerating digital transformation, and advancing global competitiveness.

Through the 2026 Pre-Leadership Meeting, UIN Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment to building a more adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive Islamic higher education institution in line with its ongoing transformation agenda.
