PPIM-Swinburne University of Technology Established Cooperation

PPIM, UIN News Online – Center for the study of Islam and Society (PPIM) UIN Jakarta and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia agreed to cooperate on research development. The agreement is signed by Acting Director for PPIM UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Jamhari and Foundation Dean from Swinburne University Law School Prof Dan Hunter from Swinburne University at PPIM office, Jalan Kertamukti No. 5, Cireundeu, South Tangerang, Monday, (4/3).

Also present in the event, PPIM Research Director Ismatu Ropi PhD and several civitas academica of UIN Jakarta. Ropi in his remarks said that this cooperation will be more focused on Transnational Corporate Lawyering research development. “Both institutions are agreed on some important things in terms of research development,” he said.

Based on information obtained from https://ppim.uinjkt.ac.id/id/, PPIM will host the visitation from Swinburne University of Technology students to Indonesia in July, 2017.

“Hopefully, this will deepen the efforts of UIN Jakarta on becoming World Class University (WCU) as well as to achieve global recognition,” he said.

Jamhari also hoped that this cooperation will improve the scientific quality for each institution. “I hope this cooperation can be a stimulus for publication and research development,” said Jamhari. (usa)
