Diorama Room, UIN Online News — The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta conducted a Coordination Meeting for the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Public Information Accesibility 2025 on Wednesday (August 20, 2025).
Present at the event were the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D.; the Head of PPID and Vice Rector for General Administration, Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A.; the Head of the Information and Public Relations Center, Zaenal Muttaqin S.Th.I., M.Ag.; along with representatives from each faculty, the Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M), and the Information Technology and Database Center (PUSTIPANDA).
The Head of the Information and Public Relations Center asserted that the disclosure of public information at UIN Jakarta must be transparent and accessible.
"UIN Jakarta is a state university that receives a share of the government budgetary allocations. Consequently, there is a necessity to maintain transparency in all issues, with the exception of private data and senstive information," Zaenal Muttaqin S.Th.I., M.Ag., elucidated.
Furthermore, the Head of PPID explained that the objective of the meeting is to ensure public satisfaction with the right to access information as stated in Law Number 14 of 2008 regarding public information sharing.
"As a state Islamic institution or university, we are obligated to record and furnish information on all subjects pertaining to information, especially on the utilization of public information. On campus, the primary focus of scrutiny by the academic civil service is the allocation of funding. These encompass single tuition fees, money, central government allocations, research grants, and additional sources," Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., elucidated.
The coordination meeting presented five assessment indicators for the Information Commission's Public Information Disclosure (PPID), the legal foundations and entities, along with data entry for monitoring and evaluation (Monev) of information transparency during the 2025 public information monitoring and evaluations seminar.
This meticulous process proved UIN Jakarta's competency as an institution that furnishes comprehensive information for students and all internal constituents of the academic community.
