PLHBH Holds Office Meeting to Update PPID Data

Main Conference Room, UIN NEWS Online - The Center for Public Relations and Legal Aid Services (PLBH) held an Office Meeting (RDK) on data updating mechanism for Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) Website at UIN Jakarta, Monday (08/13/2018), located in the main conference room, second floor of rectorate building.

The training is held considering the need to update and actualize the data on the website. Besides, there are still many old data that must be replaced with new data immediately. Because, the website is the main gateway to seeing and getting information about many things about an institution these days.

This was conveyed by the Head of PLHBH Afwan Faizin MA when the introductory preface member was before the RDK began.

He added, this activity was organized in order to provide satisfaction to stakeholders when seeking information about various matters relating to UIN Jakarta.

"In addition to fulfilling the demands of the law on Public Information Openness (KIP) and data to the public, we also try to make UIN Jakarta a campus that has good and transparent information services. This is in accordance with the direction of the Rector of UIN Jakarta, who appreciates this activity so that UIN Jakarta becomes the campus that is awarded the top three of Public Information Openness, "said Afwan.

According to him, they have to input data that is suitable for public knowledge while updating old ones.

"Such as simplifying financial summaries, strategic plans, data about students and existing forms. So the public can see the process is not complicated. Thus, the public can easily obtain the information needed," he said.

Also present in the event, Vice Rector for Cooperation Prof. Dr. Murodi MA, accompanied by Head of LP2M Dr Ali Munhanif PhD.

In his remarks, Murodi emphasized the need for data and info actualization on the PPID page. It was because PTNBH team itself still face some difficulty when they wanted to get data and information.

"We as  internal also still have a little difficulty in obtaining data and information, thus the general public (external) might find it more difficult. Actually, the data already exists, but it needs to be updated again or linked to the page where the data is located," said Murodi.

Furthermore, he added, a small team or special committee should be formed to manages the PPID website, the team must be proactive and coordinate with the providers of materials and data.

Regarding the current PPID website, Murodi gives a little advice so that the existing website needs to be simplified in its flow and appearance, to make it easier for anyone who needs data and information.

"So that anyone who opens the PPID website can easily get the information and data needed. This is also the key to the government's assessment of the transparency of data and information in this institution, "he said.

This was also strengthened by the statement of the Chair of the LP2M, he said that the formation of the PPID website management team must be carried out immediately. "The person in charge is directly appointed, they need a small but effective team. So, the PPID website page is always updated and KIP can be fulfilled, " said Ali Munhanif.

For information, the meeting was participated by representatives from several sections at UIN Jakarta, and was attended by the Head of Publication and Documentation Subdivision of Samsudin SKom, as well as several central and faculty website administrators. (usa)
