Planning A Brighter Future: UIN Jakarta Holds Prework Conference Meeting Together With Campus's Officials
Jakarta, Syahida Inn - UIN Online News. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has been organizing the Prework Conference Meeting of The Leaders on Wednesday through Thursday (February 5-6, 2025) at the Syahida Inn, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The objective of this event is to improve the strategic advantage of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as an innovative, sustainable, global, and digital university.
During this event, the executives of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta will make decisions on numerous strategies and activities to further the campus's goal for a more sustainable and prosperous global future. This event, themed "Strengthening the Competitive Advantage of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as a Green, Global, and Digital Campus," is anticipated to serve as a significant milestone in UIN Jakarta's progression towards achieving a more modern and environmentally friendly campus.
Professor Asep Saepudin Jahar, Ph.D., the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, said that we have to learn from the past experience. "We must acknowledge the dedication and sincerity of our founders and predecessors of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta."
The Rector expressed his appreciation to leaders of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta for what they have accomplished during their tenure. "All of this hardwork requires appreciation and recognition. Thus, we must collaboratively address the shortcomings,” he said.
Professor Asep Saipudin Jahar said that UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta will go on in development as a State Religious University with Legal Entity (PTKNBH). He said, "A shift in mindset is essential for progressive development of UIN Jakarta. Having said that, our priorities include internationalization, digitalization, sustainability, self-reliance, and bureaucratic reform.".
The Rector said that each unit must consider their own strategic expansion in the future. Specifically, by establishing a sets of priorities and effective communication with lecturers, education personnel, and other involved parties. "Let us work together," said the Rector.
Approximately, 300 people attended this prework conference, including the Rector, Senate, Vice Rectors, Bureau Heads, Deans, Director of Postgraduate School, Institutional Heads, Vice Deans, Chief of Study Program, and all the unit commanders of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
This prework conference is anticipated to facilitate strategic planning and brainstroming, which will be further discussed in the next meeting.
