PK Bureau held Workshop and Technical Guidance on LAKIP

NICT Building, NEWS UIN Online- In order to increase the knowledge and skill of UIN Jakarta employees, especially officer of Performance Accountability Report of Government Institution (LAKIP) from each work unit in UIN Jakarta environment in preparing and making reporting LAKIP better, Planning and Financing (PK) Bureau held a Workshop on Performance Report of Government Agency Year 2017.

This activity lasted for three days, Monday-Wednesday (11/27-29 /2017). This was conveyed by the Head of Planning and Finance Bureau (PK), Drs Subarja MPd during the opening of the activity, at ICT Training and Research Center, Ciputat, South Tangerang.

According to Subarja, this activity was attended by all representatives of the in UIN Jakarta and present competent speakers from Padjajaran University (UNPAD) Bandung, and officially opened by Vice Rector for General Administration of UIN Jakarta, Prof Dr Abdul Hamid MS.

In his speech, Abdul Hamid expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this activity. He stated that this activity is very important to cultivate financial accountability through the well-prepared LAKIP report.

He also added that, the presentation of an interesting reporting will make it easier for anyone to read and understand the content of the report. Therefore, this kind of activity should at least be done at least twice a year because of the urgency and benefits it has.

Meanwhile, according to Imanuddin Kudus (UNPAD, Bandung), the practice in preparing LAKIP is not as easy as imagined, there is even a work unit that is unable to present LAKIP in the current year. Making LAKIP requires at least a special skill.

"Therefore, such technical training and guidance is necessary and urgent to ensure that LAKIP can be done well and on time," said Imanuddin.

Still according to Iman, making LAKIP true not only the issue of financial reporting, but also related to the planning and implementation of the programs that already done. To be sure, LAKIP must refer to Strategic Planning (Renstra) and IKU University. (usa)
