PBSI FITK holds national seminar on multidisciplinary learning

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – The Indonesia Language and Literature education (PBSI) student association (HMJ) of the Faculty of Tarbiya and Teaching Sciences (FITK) UIN Jakarta holds national seminar entitled “Pembelajaran Multidisipliner Berbasis Drama sebagai Inovasi Pendidikan di Era Revolusi 4.0” on Monday (04/22/2019) at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

Present in the event, UIN Jakarta’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Zulkifli, Dean of FITK UIN Jakarta Sururin, and invited guests from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), IAIN Tulungagung, and Unindra.

Also present as speakers, Hurip Danu Ismadi (Head of Center for Language and Literature Development, Language and Book Development Agency), N Riantiarno (Dramawan and Founder of Teater Koma), Fahriany (Lecturer in FITK English Education), and Bahrissalim (Director of Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta).

Zulkifli in his remarks said that emotional, social, and personal development, various literacy, communication, language, and mathematics.  It can be learned through drama.

On the same occasion, Dean of FITK UIN Jakarta Sururin hoped that the PBSI Study Program could develop not only in literary works, but be able to provide deeper meaning to introduce Indonesia to the international world.

“It is our responsibility to introduce Indonesian language and literature to the international community,” she said.

From Ciputat, she continued, it was hoped that the birth of new writers could influence the map of the Indonesian literature movement.

“Hopefully this event can inspire PBSI students to become new writers who will influence the dynamics of Indonesian literature,” she concluded. (usa)
