PBAK UIN Jakarta 2024 Concludes Joyfully: A Celebration of Student Diversity and Creativity

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN News Online - Closing the Introduction of Campus Academic Culture (PBAK) UIN Jakarta 2024 was lively. In line with the theme “Festival of Student Creation and Innovation: Cultural Parade, UMKM Bazaar, Closing PBAK 2024” this event presents a different thing. The event began with a parade by new students wearing traditional clothing from their respective regions of origin to the UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) bazaar which added to the excitement of the event held on (30/11/2024) at UIN Jakarta.

This event features a variety of regional arts performed by students from primordial organizations as well as the introduction of international students who perform typical art performances of their respective countries. This cultural parade is a symbol of UIN Jakarta students who come from various cultural backgrounds and different countries but still uphold the value of unity.

Chairperson of PBAK UIN Jakarta 2024, Salamah Agung, M.A., Ph.D in her speech, advised that PBAK activities that have been held for 100 days can provide readiness for new students of UIN Jakarta culture by applying student principles and gaining sustainable academic achievements. “We hope that new students can be successful in their careers and graduate on time,” he added.

In line with this, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D welcomed this event with pride. This is because the success of the PBAK series that has been carried out for 100 days is designed to equip new students in their journey in the academic world by applying the main principles and best practices in thinking and learning.

Apart from the auditorium, the enthusiasm of new students was also seen in the UMKM bazaar area which was held outside. This bazaar came from various groups of both students and outsiders. This is a manifestation of UIN Jakarta's concern that not only becomes a campus that focuses on academics, but also empowers businesses owned by students.
