PAI Doctoral Program Registration Period Ends On July 18

FITK, UIN News Online – The registration period for new student candidates for the Doctoral Program (S3) Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI) Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) for the odd semester 2022/2023 academic year will end on July 18, 2022. Prospective participants are requested to immediately register before the deadline.

This is the FITK press release received by UIN News Online on Thursday (07/14/2022). According to the release, the admission of new students for the PAI Doctoral Program has been open since July 4, 2022 through https://spmb.uinjkt.ac.id.

As a requirement for registration, prospective participants must include copies of S1 and S2 diplomas from accredited and legalized study programs from authorized officials, copies of accreditation certificates for study programs and institutions from BAN-PT and/or other credible international level institutions, copies of transcripts with Minimum GPA of 3.00 or Jayyid, 3×4 and 2×3 color photographs, two pieces each, curriculum vitae, and a list of published scientific papers.

Another requirement is that prospective participants must submit a letter of recommendation from two people who have qualifications for a tertiary institution, a statement that they are able to pay tuitional fee during their studies (if borne by themselves) or from the agency (if covered by a sponsor), a permit from the institution where they work (for those who work), a statement letter of being able to comply with the applicable provisions and will be determined by the FITK UIN Jakarta Doctoral Program, a health certificate from the doctor, a copy of a valid ID card / driving license / passport and visa, as well as a dissertation proposal of at least 15 pages of A4 paper size as much as 4 copies.

The dissertation proposal is written containing the background, problem formulation, research objectives, research benefits, statement of the art (novelty), literature review, previous research, research methodology, and bibliography.

All requirement must be submitted directly to the Admissions Committee for the New PAI Doctoral Program Student Candidates at the FITK Building no later than 18 July 2022.

Doctoral Program Selection will be held on August 1-5 2022 and the result will be announced on August 12, 2022. Meanwhile, re-registration will be conducted on August 15-20 2022, orientation period will be on September 1-2 2022, and lectures will begin on September 5, 2022.

Entrance exam materials include Arabic and English Proficiency Tests (TOAFL, TOEFL and Reading Comprehension), Indonesian Language Proficiency Tests (TOIFL) and Reading Comprehension for prospective International students, Dissertation Proposal interviews, and Academic Potential Tests (TPA).

The PAI Doctoral Program was opened based on the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Number 204 of 2022. The objectives of program, among others, are to produce doctors who are able to find new methodologies in the field of Islamic Studies and produce scientific papers published in international journals, become educational consultants, and become leaders in institutions education.
