P3JPH UIN Jakarta Holds Training for MSME Actors

Diorama Room, UIN News Online – The Center for the Study and Development of Halal Product Assurance (P3JPH) UIN Jakarta holds a Halal Product Assurance System Training in the Diorama Room, campus I of UIN Jakarta on Thursday (08/04/2022). The training was attended by 92 participants who were members of the Shaliza community. The training, which was divided into two sessions, presented two resource persons from P3JPH UIN Jakarta, namely Yusraini Dian Inayati Siregar and Ahmad Fatoni. Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her welcoming remarks appreciated the holding of this activity. Amany also expressed her gratitude to the MSME actors who were present at UIN Jakarta. “I am happy to be able to meet directly with MSME actors who have the desire to develop their business and increase their knowledge in halal science,” said Rector. The training was guided by the head of P3JPH UIN Jakarta, Sandra Hermanto. On the sidelines of the training, he said that P3JPH UIN Jakarta would provide assistance to MSME actors. Meanwhile, Yusraini in her presentation explained the material regarding the halal product guarantee system. According to Yusraini, business actors must know which ones are halal and which are haram. For halal certification requirements, said Yusraini, they must go through a self-declaring mechanism. “It is clear that we use the Qur'an surah al-Baqarah verse 168 as a basis,” she said. On the same occasion, Ahmad Fatoni said that the application for certification can be submitted digitally using the SiHalal application. “SiHalal is a web-based Halal Certification service application developed by BPJPH to support halal certification services,” said Ahmad.
