Online assessment, Study of Religions master’s program conducts online re-accreditation process

FU Building, UIN News Online – To improve the quality of education, Study of Religions master’s program of the Ushuluddin Faculty (FU) UIN Jakarta conducts re-accreditation process. The online assessment process was carried out through zoom application on Wednesday (02/03/2021), held at the Faculty of Ushuluddin building, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

By inviting Mukhtasar Syamsuddin Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta, and Alim Roswantoro from UIN Yogyakarta as assessors, this event was officially opened by the Dean of FU UIN Jakarta Yusuf Rahman, accompanied by Vice Dean of Academic Affairs Kusmana, Vice Dean of General Administration Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, Vice Dean of Student and Alumni Affairs Edwin Syarif. Also present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis.

Rector in her remarks said that Study of Religions program study in UIN Jakarta is one of the leading study programs, because this study program is not widely available in Indonesia.

“In addition, this study program is also very inclusive, because it is very open to all groups, religions and countries. In addition, this study program also made various innovations to improve the quality of lecturers and students, both through routine research activities, workshops, seminars, and trainings,” said Rector Amany.

In response, BAN-PT Assessor from UGM Yogyakarta Mukhtasar Syamsudin appreciates the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Jakarta. He also said that the assessment process will be held for 2 consecutive days.

“We will have a 2-day discussion about things that need to be improved and added for the advancement of the Study of Religions master’s program,” said Mukhtasar.

For information, the two BAN PT assessors will check the accreditation forms for the past five years. The assessors will also interview students, alumni, lecturers, stakeholders, and users. (usa/man/m.nts)
