Held at the ground floor Diorama Room of the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Monday, June 8, 2026, the visit involved 43 ninth-grade students and 5 accompanying teachers aiming to gather institutional insights regarding undergraduate profiles and official student admission pathways.
The institutional reception was managed by the executive team of the UIN Jakarta Information and Public Relations Center (PIH), including the Head of PIH, Zaenal Muttaqin, alongside communications officers Dian Nurbani Adestiana, Taufan Maulana Firdaus, and Yuyun Yuliana, who guided the students throughout the campus orientation.
The Principal of SMPIT Insan Permata, Hafiz Maulana, expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to visit the largest and top-ranked state Islamic higher education institution (PTKIN) in Indonesia, noting that this project marked their school's inaugural official academic trip to the capital city.
"First and foremost, we express our highest gratitude to Allah SWT for enabling us to build institutional ties at one of the largest and finest state Islamic universities in Indonesia. This is our first official visit to the capital. Many of our students are setting foot in Jakarta and entering a prestigious university environment like UIN Jakarta for the very first time," he remarked.
He added his hope that this site visit would broaden the academic horizons of the junior high school students and foster early motivation for their long-term higher education goals.
The Head of PIH UIN Jakarta, Zaenal Muttaqin, warmly welcomed the delegation and highly commended the school's proactive initiative to introduce higher education ecosystems to junior high school students.
“We extend our warmest welcome to SMPIT Insan Permata. I highly appreciate early-stage visits like this because it is vital to instill a forward-looking mindset during junior high school years, reminding students that their educational journeys and future opportunities are vast and require early planning,” he stated.
Furthermore, Zaenal highlighted that UIN Jakarta maintains a dedicated institutional framework to scout, recruit, and reward student talents, particularly those with advanced competencies in religious scholarship. He revealed that the university provides specialized admission privileges and prestigious scholarship recognition for students who have successfully memorized the Quran.
“UIN Jakarta highly values high school graduates with exceptional credentials, and this motivation should start from the junior high level. To qualify for our specialized Quranic Memorization track, candidates must master a minimum of 15 Juz. The university hosts a dedicated annual honoring ceremony for these scholars. Alhamdulillah, last fiscal year alone, UIN Jakarta successfully graduated and honored 150 certified Quran memorizers,” he detailed.
PIH Communications Staff, Yuyun Yuliana, echoed these welcoming remarks, expressing her hope that the interaction would yield fresh academic enthusiasm among the visiting youth.
“Welcome to Jakarta, and welcome to our campus. We hope that touring our academic facilities injects fresh energy and inspiration into your studies. Our primary goal is to ensure that you return home with the precise information and structural insights needed to map out your future academic paths at UIN Jakarta,” she concluded.
