Next Week Faculty of Ushuluddin Hold National Seminar and Book Review

Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN NEWS Online-- Comperative Religion Study of Faculty of Ushuluddin (FU) UIN Jakarta will hold a national seminar and book review event “Wajah Studi Agama-Agama” in Theater Room 4th Floor of Faculty of Ushuluddin, Tuesday (12/04) from 09.00 am to 14.00 pm.

As The head of Comperative Religion Study, Dr Ahmad Ridho DESA, said to UIN NEWS Online team, when approached to his office, Thursday (07/04). “I hope this seminar goes smoothly and all UIN academic community could attend especially students and lecturer,” he hoped.

The first seminar themed Comperative Religion Study in The Future: Prospects Problem and Hope will have three speakers attending, Ahmad Muttaqin, Ph.D (The head of Comperative Religion Study of UIN Yogyakarta), Ahmad Afnan Anshori, MA (The head of Comparative Religion Study of UIN Walisongo Semarang), dan Dr. Media Zainul Bahri, MA (Comperative Religion Study’s Lecturer of Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Jakarta and writer of “Wajah Studi Agama-Agama”).

The dean of Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof Dr Masri Mansur, M.Ag, appreciated this seminar and book review event. He says, this activity must keep go on with holding this events like seminar, book review event, and public discussion.

“Lecturer and student’s works from Faculty of Ushuluddin are so many, and it will be helpful if those works would be reviewed publicly by lecturers and students,” he said. (Translated by: Ihsan/Amanda)
