New student admissions, Minister of Religious Affairs appreciates UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Fachrul Razi gave two awards to UIN Jakarta, which achieved the highest number of applicants for SPAN PTKIN and UM PTKIN new student admissions, Friday (21/8/2020). This award is expected to increase the role of UIN Jakarta in providing the best education for the nation's young generation.

Present at the event, the leaders of 58 PTKIN in Indonesia, the Director General of Islamic Education Ali Ramdhani and Chairman of the National Committee for SPAN-UM PTKIN as well as the Rector of UIN Bandung Prof. Dr. Mahmud.

In the 2020 SPAN-PTKIN selection, UIN Jakarta recorded the highest number of registrants. Furthermore, the highest achievement was followed by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. And for UM-PTKIN, the award was given to UIN Makassar, followed by UIN Jakarta and UIN Bandung.

Responding to the achievement, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis express her gratitude to the people who gave their full confidence in entrusting their children to pursue their higher education at UIN Jakarta. According to Amany, UIN Jakarta always committed in providing the best education, so the graduates can become professionals who are ready to play an active role in various lines of profession.

“Thank you for the public trust, also the appreciation from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. The high interest and appreciation will continue to motivate us in improving the quality of education,” she said. (usa/zm)
