National Board Audits UIN Jakarta Entrance Exams, Validating Its Status as Indonesia’s Largest Testing Hub

AAKK Bureau Meeting Room, UIN Online News – UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta received an official monitoring and quality audit delegation from the National Committee for State Islamic Higher Education Admissions (PMB PTKIN). Held at the Bureau for Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation (AAKK) Meeting Room on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the supervisory visit aimed to verify that the Electronic System Selection (SSE) for the national entrance exam complies strictly with established standard operating procedures, while serving as a comprehensive technical evaluation framework.

The high-level monitoring panel consisted of top national academic executives, including the Treasurer of the National Admissions Committee, Prof. Dr. Rosihon Anwar; National Quality Assurance Board Member, Prof. Dr. Martin Kustati; Quality Assurance Task Force Members, Dr. A. Rafiq Zainul Mun'im and Prof. Dr. Abdul Hadi; alongside Financial and Secretariat Coordinators, Edy Fuadi, Anita Trisiah, and Ilham Nurjaman.

Data compiled during the audit highlights that total interest in UIN Jakarta under this specific track reached a competitive volume, processing 8,346 unique university preferences (comprising 5,729 first-choice selections, 5,462 second-choice selections, and 4,765 third-choice selections). The computer-based testing cycle spanning the university’s campuses is compressed into 12 intensive sessions deployed across 4 days, averaging 3 specialized testing waves per day.

The Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, expressed deep appreciation to the National Admissions Committee for their institutional trust in selecting UIN Jakarta as a primary hosting hub, welcoming the rigorous external audit of the examination facilities.

“I extend my highest gratitude to the National Committee for entrusting UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as a central executing hub. We highly value this monitoring visit to inspect the live operations of these national exams. We jointly inspected the computer laboratories, and alhamdulillah, the deployment is operating smoothly. Our hope is to maintain this institutional trust next year as we continuously upgrade our digital governance and provide even better services for future candidates,” the Rector stated.

The Treasurer of the National Admissions Committee, Prof. Dr. Rosihon Anwar, confirmed that field inspections across multiple campus sectors verified total technical compliance, praising both network stability and the proctoring network.

“I have personally inspected several live execution sectors at UIN Jakarta, and the operations are progressing excellently across all metrics, from bandwidth reliability to strict exam supervision. UIN Jakarta holds the record as the single largest examination center among all state Islamic higher education institutions in the nation. Managing this volume naturally demands specialized administrative treatment and technical agility. Alhamdulillah, the local committee at UIN Jakarta has managed this massive logistics operation flawlessly,” Prof. Anwar explained.

Concurrently, National Quality Assurance Board Member, Prof. Dr. Martin Kustati, highlighted that the data-backed inspection verified that over 5,000 national candidates selected UIN Jakarta as their physical testing location, fully utilized by the university's robust hardware infrastructure.

“In coordination with the Rector and the technical teams, we monitored the examination grounds. UIN Jakarta has successfully optimized 33 advanced computer laboratories operating under a strict 3-session daily cycle. With this exceptional administrative setup and premium facilities, we expect that the testing candidates can secure optimal academic results matching their top choices,” she remarked.

Concluding the evaluation forum, Prof. Kustati outlined the administrative steps for successful candidates, while offering alternative tracks for those who fall short of the competitive baseline.

“We strongly urge candidates who clear the national selection to immediately initiate their enrollment re-registration and complete all formal financial clearances to officially join the 2026 student body under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. For candidates who do not secure a seat through this national track, we encourage them to remain resilient and utilize the upcoming Independent Admissions Track (Jalur Mandiri) available across our state university network,” she added.
