Ministry of Social Affairs donates IDR 100 Million for UIN Jakarta KKN program

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) donates IDR 100 million to UIN Jakarta. The assistance was given as a form of Kemensos commitment to support the village development program at the community service (KKN) location.

The donation was given directly by Minister of Social Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita to the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis during KKN 2019 send-off ceremony, Monday (07/22/2019), at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

“Hopefully this assistance can be useful for the implementation of Community Service (KKN) activities in the destination villages,” he said.

In addition to giving assistance, Social Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita also gave a public lecture entitled "Memperkuat Ketahanan Desa dalam Menghadapi Era Revolusi Industri 4.0".

Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Zulkifli, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Masri Mansoer, AAKK Bureau Chief Khaeruddin, Head of LP2M UIN Jakarta Jajang Jahroni, and head of PPM UIN Jakarta Kamarusdiana.

For information, UIN Jakarta KKN Program in 2019 was attended by 3,600 participants. They are distpatched to 200 villages in two regions, namely Bogor, West Java, and Tangerang District, Banten, starting on July 23, 2019 until August 23, 2019. (usa/ns)
