Minister of Religious Affairs Appoints New Head of AUK Bureau at UIN Jakarta

Rectorate Building, UIN Online News – The Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Gus Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, has rotated the position of Head of the Bureau of General Administration and Personnel (AUK) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta during the inauguration of the Chairperson of the State Hindu Religious College and 13 Echelon II officials within the Ministry of Religion. The inauguration, oath-taking, and signing of the minutes took place in the Operation Room of the Ministry of Religion's Central Office, Jalan Lapangan Banteng No 3-4, Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, today, Tuesday (16/7/2024).

Drs. H. Juanda Naim M.H., who has served as the Head of the AUK Bureau at UIN Jakarta since 2022, has been transferred to become the Head of the AUPK Bureau at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. His position will be filled by Dr. H. Imam Syafe'i M.Pd., who previously served as the Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning, and Finance at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University, Bandung.

The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony was witnessed by several Ministry of Religion leaders and officials, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Ramdani M.T., Acting Director General of Islamic Education Abu Rokhmad, special staff, expert staff, and Echelon I officials of the Ministry of Religion.

During the inauguration, the Minister of Religion inducted and took the oath of office for several officials within the Ministry of Religion, including:

1. Prof. Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Gede Candrawan, M.Ag., with an additional task as Chairperson of the State Hindu Religious College Jawa Dwipa Klaten, Central Java, for the 2024-2028 term;
2. I Made Santika, S.Sos., M.Si., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs at the State Hindu Religious Institute Tampung Penyang Palangkaraya;
3. H. Zainal Mustamin, S.Ag., M.A., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs at the State Islamic Institute Kendari;
4. Dr. H. Moh. Junaidin, M.A., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning, Finance, and Personnel at Antasari State Islamic University Banjarmasin;
5. Dr. H. Adnan Nota, M.A., as Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, West Sulawesi Province;
6. H. Khairunas, S.H., M.H., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning, and Finance at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung;
7. Dr. Imam Safei, M.Pd., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration and Personnel at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta;
8. Drs. H. Juanda Naim, M.H., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning, Finance, and Personnel at Raden Intan State Islamic University Lampung;
9. Dr. Ahmad Bahiej, S.H., M.Hum., as Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, Special Region of Yogyakarta;
10. Dr. H. Masmin Afif, M.Ag., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs at the State Islamic Institute Kudus;
11. Drs. H. Adnan, M.Ag., as Head of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning, and Finance at Professor Kiai Haji Saifuddin Zuhri State Islamic University Purwokerto;
12. Drs. H. Edhi Gunawan, M.Pd.I., as Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya;
13. Dr. H. Mamat Salamet Burhanudin, M.Ag., as Head of the Center for Halal Registration and Certification at the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency, Ministry of Religion;
14. Hj. Siti Aminah, M.Pd.I., as Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation at Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University Banten.

In his inauguration speech, the Minister of Religious Affairs urged the newly appointed officials to carry out their duties diligently, in accordance with regulations and religious norms. “I believe that you will perform your duties to the best of your abilities, according to the responsibilities entrusted to you. May Allah SWT be with us,” said the Minister.

After his inauguration, Juanda Naim expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given by the Ministry of Religion to be part of the academic community at UIN Jakarta for almost three years. During this time, he said he was proud to have been involved in the development of one of the first state Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia.

He hopes that UIN Jakarta will continue to excel in various academic achievements and contributions to Islamic scholarship in Indonesia and the world. "With the leadership and resources it possesses, UIN Jakarta will continue to advance," he said.

Furthermore, the official from Lampung expressed his gratitude for the support from the leaders and academic community of UIN Jakarta during his tenure at the campus. "Thank you for the support and cooperation with many parties on this campus. May this campus continue to grow and develop rapidly," he concluded.

Separately, the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar M.A. Ph.D., congratulated Juanda on his new assignment. Rector Asep Jahar also expressed his gratitude for Juanda's dedication during his tenure as Head of the AUK Bureau at UIN Jakarta, contributing to the university's development.

"Pak Juanda is an extraordinary figure with extensive experience as a bureaucrat. Insha Allah, he will continue to achieve outstanding performance and accomplishments," said Rector. (PIH/MoRA)
