The recognition reflects UIN Jakarta’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and encouraging students to contribute innovative research that addresses contemporary issues and benefits society.

One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony came when Mafatihatul Maghfiroh, an outstanding graduate from the Arabic Language and Literature Program, delivered a heartfelt address on behalf of the graduating class.

Speaking before fellow graduates, faculty members, and families, she reflected on the meaning of perseverance and resilience throughout the academic journey.

“Earning a degree is not simply about being the smartest person in the classroom. It is about having the strength to endure, to keep moving forward, and to never give up throughout the process,” she said.

She emphasized that academic success is forged through dedication, sacrifice, and countless hours of hard work rather than talent alone.

“This degree was not achieved through ease and comfort. It was shaped through long nights, determination, and the resilience required to navigate a demanding journey,” she added.

Toward the end of her speech, Mafatihatul dedicated the graduates’ achievements to their parents and families, acknowledging the sacrifices that made their educational journeys possible.

In an emotional tribute, she reminded her fellow graduates that their accomplishments represented not only personal success but also the hopes and aspirations of those who had supported them along the way.

“Through education, we are not merely pursuing academic titles. We are carrying the hopes of our parents and striving to build a better future for our families,” she said.

Concluding her remarks, she offered a moving reflection that resonated throughout the auditorium.

“The graduation gown we wear today is not only a symbol of academic achievement. It is also a testament to the prayers, sacrifices, and unwavering support of our parents that have finally reached their destination.” she concluded
