Master Program KPI Accept New Students

FDIK Building, UIN NEWS Online - Master Program of Communication and Broadcasting of Islam (KPI) Faculty of Communication Sciences and Science (FDIK) UIN Jakarta receives new student candidates for academic year 2018/2019. Prospective students are accepted from S1 graduates from all majors, both from domestic and abroad.

According to the Secretary of Master Program KPI Dr Rulli Nasrullah to the NEWS UIN Online at FIDIK building on Friday (6/22/2018), the registration period of Master Program KPI is open from 12 March to 31 July 2018. Selection is done on 3 August 2018 in the form of written test and Interview. The graduation announcement will be submitted on August 16, 2018 and re-registration for those who passed on 20-31 Agutsus 2018.

"For those who graduate, students must follow the Study Orientation on September 3, 2018. While the lecture will begin on September 10, 2018," he said.

Students accepted in the Master Program KPI are graduates of S1 majoring in KPI or science of da'wah and general science graduates with minimum GPA 2.75. However, for graduates of general courses, students must first follow the matriculation program.

Rulli explained that the Master of KPI is an advanced education program Strata 2 (S2) in the field of communication and broadcasting of Islam. The program was opened since 2014 based on the Decree of Islamic Education Director of the Ministry of Religious Affairs No. 1456 of 2014 dated March 13, 2014.

"Since the opening to date, KPI has graduated as many as four batches and has been accredited both with the B value of the National Accreditation Board of State Universities (BAN-PT)," he said.

This program, he added, among them aims to print the students who are able to develop the science simultaneously in the field of da'wah and communication science. While the focus of his study covers the field of Islam and the media.

Education Master Program KPI can be reached for two years or four semesters with a total of 46 units of semester credit (SKS), including the writing of the thesis. Graduates of Master degree of Master of Science (M.S) holds academic Magister Sosial or MSos.

"Insha Allah, in the near future we will also open the Doctoral Program (S3) KPI. The proposal has been prepared will be submitted soon," said Rulli. (usa)
