MAN 1 Metro Lampung Students Visit UIN Jakarta

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – 340 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Metro, Lampung Province, conducted an academic visit to UIN Jakarta, Friday, (5/5). The group, led by Antoni Iswantoro M.Ed was welcomed by UIN Jakarta  Academic Administration and Cooperation Bureau chief Drs. H. Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I. and the head of Academic Affairs Ir Hj Yarsi Berlianti M.Si.

In his remarks, Antoni said this activity was held in order to introduce the students to the University life as well as to provide experiences on outer high school environments. “Trough this activity, we would like to introduce our students into university life, ranging from the faculties, study programs, as well as the academic activities,” he said.

On the same occasion, Antoni also hopes that UIN Jakarta can prioritize his student to enroll in UIN Jakarta. The academic climate and the choice of study program such as Medical Education, Public Health, Accounting, and Agribusiness Study Program offered by UIN Jakarta are the study program which is expected to accelerate the socio-economic development of Lampung society.

“The adequate and reliable human resources are very much needed in Lampung. We hope that UIN Jakarta can prioritize our students to continue their study here in UIN Jakarta,” he added.

Meanwhile, AAKK bureau chief explained that in order to be able to study in UIN Jakarta, they must pass the enrollment test. “Moreover, UIN Jakarta will provide scholarships for students who excel, both in academic and non-academic fields,” he said. (usa)
