LPM INSTITUT Successfully Obtain Journalistic Award
Serpong, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta’s Student Press Agency (LPM INSTITUT) successfully obtained several journalistic awards from the Directorate of Islamic Education (Ditjen Pendis) Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) RI.
The awards were given during the Islamic education appreciation night in the Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (AICIS) 2017 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition Building BSD, Serpong, South Tangerang.
For the category of student journalistic work, LPM INSTITUT UIN Jakarta received at least four awards, two awards in the form of individual journalism (journalism photography and in-depth news) and two other awards in the form of works of the institution (printed media and online media).
In the individual work of photo journalism (works of Rahmat Hidayat), LPM INSTITUT won first prize in the form of coaching money amounting to Rp 4 million of coaching money and in-depth news writing (works of Atik Zuliati), won third prize with Rp 2.5 million of coaching money.
For the work of institutions in the form of printed and online media, each get second runner-up prize in the form of Rp 2 million of coaching money and the second winner with a prize of Rp 5 million of coaching money.
Head of Research and Development of LPM INSTITUT Eli Murtiana said the awards received from Ditjen Pendis are a gift in her last management period. The award is not only successful for the LPM INSTITUT TEAM, of but also UIN Jakarta and all its academic community, especially for the loyal readers.
"We are grateful for this achievement. At least this can be a motivation in developing the more qualified and professional student press agency on campus in the future" said the 9th semester student of Political Science Department Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. (usa)
