LPM Asks 22 Study Programs to Immediately Prepare the Re-accreditation Process

LPM, UIN News Online – Quality and Assurance Institute (LPM) asks 22 study programs to immediately prepare their re-accreditation proposal. This was conveyed by the Head of LPM UIN Jakarta Dr. Sururin to UIN News Online in her office, Tuesday (11/13/2018).

According to Sururin, re-accreditation proposal need to be accelerated this year. The standard for re-accreditation assessment will be even greater if we submit a re-accreditation proposal next year. "If there were approximately seven requirements in this year, next year, there are nine conditions that must be met," she said.

One of them is the necessity of having at least one professor for one study program. "And it's certainly difficult because not every study program has a professor," she added.

Separately, LPM UIN Jakarta Accreditation Coordinator Iwan Permana Suwarna M.Pd, said that there were 22 undergraduate and master study programs that must be immediately re-accredited. "20 study programs in 2019 and 2 study programs in 2018," he said.

He also added that there are 9 standards applied in measuring accreditation next year. Among them are the vision; mission; study program goal and strategies; governance and cooperation; student; human Resources; finance, facilities and infrastructure; education; research; community service; and Tridharma's achievements.

"Quality measurement is more focused on the aspects of process, output and outcome, while the previous instrument was more focused on the input aspect," he added. (usa)
