LP2M: 2015 Research Grant Recipients Need to Publish their Works

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The chief of Institute for Research and Community Outreach (LP2M) UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Arskal Salim GP MA urged the 2015 research grantee to publish their research results. In 2015 research grants, he explained, UIN Jakarta established a policy that the certain cluster research grant recipient publishes their works in the national accredited journal or SCOPUS indexed international Journal.

“There are some perquisites that need to be met, one of them is they need to publish their research results in national and international journals. For those who have not, we urged them to publish their works immediately,” said Arskal while he met with UIN News Online team at Rectorate building, Thursday, (3/9).

He explained, if the grantees do not publish their works, UIN Jakarta cannot provide research grant in subsequent fiscal years.  UIN Jakarta, he continued, very concerned with the lecturers scientific articles publication. Moreover, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education plans to make the number of publication in a given time as the main evaluation materials on the major and honorary functional allowance for professor and associate professor.

Through 2015-2016, UIN Jakarta continues to increase the budget allocation to fund the research grant. In addition to Islamic Studies, the funded research also includes other fields, such as economics, politics, psychology, sciences, and public health. (usa)
