UIN Jakarta Facilitates IAIN Palopo's Visit with Leadership Training Mobility Activities
Diorama Room, UIN Online News — The Student Affairs and Alumni team of UIN Jakarta organized a Leadership Training Mobility event in collaboration with IAIN Palopo on Tuesday (August 20, 2024).
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Mustaming, S.Ag., M.HI., Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation at IAIN Palopo, who expressed his enthusiasm for the agenda. He noted that this visit is expected to play a key role in preparing the Faculty and University Student Executive Board (DEMA) members for the upcoming PBAK at IAIN Palopo..
"As all universities will be welcoming new students this year, I hope this visit can be used as a platform for sharing experiences between IAIN Palopo and UIN Jakarta," explained the Vice Rector of IAIN Palopo.
On the same occasion, Vice Rector for Student Affairs of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., also emphasized that this leadership training activity is crucial for strengthening inter-university cooperation and for introducing and developing the talents and interests of students at both IAIN Palopo and UIN Jakarta.
"This event is certainly aimed at reinforcing inter-university cooperation, as well as introducing student activities at UIN Jakarta, which are expected to help develop students' talents and prepare them for the workforce," explained the Vice Rector of UIN Jakarta.
The event continued with a symbolic exchange of souvenirs between UIN Jakarta and IAIN Palopo, represented by Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., and Dr. Mustaming, S.Ag., M.HI.
The core of the Leadership Training Mobility event was a presentation on Student Activities at UIN Jakarta, delivered by the Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation Bureau, Muhammad Furqon, S.Pd.I., M.A., accompanied by Dr. Eva Nugraha, M.Ag., who explained the various Student Activity Units at UIN Jakarta, the PBAK process, and available scholarships.
The visit concluded with a discussion between the University Student Executive Boards (DEMA) of UIN Jakarta and IAIN Palopo, followed by an introduction to the campus environment through a tour around UIN Jakarta. This discussion session was intended as a means of exchanging information about each university's environment, discussing student development activities, and other matters related to inter-institutional cooperation.
