Kyai Mukri Appointed as Professor of Fiqh Science

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Again, UIN Jakarta has a new professor following the appointment of Prof. Dr. K.H. Ahmad Mukri Aji MA as Professor of Fiqh science as stipulated in the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Number 003804 of 2022.

“Starting from February 1, 2022, Ahmad Mukri Aji  was promoted to Professor/Professor of Fiqh science with a credit points of 935,” said Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas in his decree as quoted by BERITA UIN Online, Monday (03/07/2022).

Before being appointed as a professor, Kyai Mukri, who was born in Bogor in 1957, held the academic position of Associeate Professor with 406.5. As an academic, the man who was born in Bogor in 1957 also wrote a number of scientific works in the form of journal articles and books. He is also active in expressing his thoughts in various academic forums.

On the sidelines of his busy teaching schedule, Kyai Mukri still finds time in various social activities. He was once trusted to be a member of the DKI Jakarta MUI Fatwa Commission, chaired the Communication Forum for Islamic Boarding Schools in Bogor and West Java Regencies, and Caretaker for the Darun Na'im Islamic Boarding School YAPIA Bogor.

For information, Kyai Mukri is a lecturer at the Comparative Study Program of FSH UIN Jakarta. He teaches a number of courses in the field of Islamic jurisprudence such as Muqaranah Mazahib Fiqh Munakahat, Munakahat Fiqh, Muqorron Fiqh Studies, Muqaranah Mazahib fil Ushul, and Methods of Fatwa Analysis.
