KSR PMI UIN Jakarta will organize blood donation event

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta’s Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Voluntary Corps (KSR) will organize a social event in the form of blood donation, on Wednesday (19/06), at the Student Center Hall, Campus I of UIN Jakarta.

Based on the press release received by UIN News Online, Tuesday (06/18/2019), this blood donor social activity was a work program of the KSR that had to be carried out both independently and in collaboration with other agencies.

Still from the same source, the target of donors for one period of the KSR PMI unit of UIN Jakarta is as many as 1000 bags of blood. Therefore, in the blood donor activity, it always collaborates with the Tangerang City Blood Donation Unit (UDD).

When contacted through social media, One of the KSR member, Auliam said that the number of donors who passed the pre-donor test were 43 people on average from 68 applicants, while the blood donation activities held in 2019 included, on March 12, March 27, April 9 , April 16, April 24, and May 2, 2019.

"On May 2, 2019, blood donation activities were held at UIN Jakarta 1st Floor Hall. The applicantsat that time reached 31 participants with 23 participants who passed the pre donor test," said Aulia.

While the blood donation activities which will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in the Hall of Student Center (SC) at 10:00 - 14:00 WIB target as many as 100 participants. (usa)
