KMPLHK Ranita and STF UIN Jakarta Holds Kurban Untuk Lombok

Lombok, UIN NEWS Online - Lombok Earthquake Care Post from KMPLHK Ranita in collaboration with the Social Trust Fund (STF) UIN Jakarta held a sacrificial animal slaughter and distributed them to earthquake victims in Lombok West Nusa Tenggara, Wednesday (08/22/2018).

"We are raising donations for 22 days through donation posts, starting from Wednesday, August 1, 2018 to today, Thursday, August 23, 2018," said a member of the Lombok Earthquake Data and Information Team KMPLHK RANITA Lina Sobariyah.

During this time, Lina continued, Ranita with STF UIN Jakarta conducted a donation by offline and online ways to channel the Ranita volunteer team to the Lombok community, especially the village residents who became the action area of ​​the Ranita volunteers, such as Temposodo Hamlet, Santong Village, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. To date, donations collected have reached Rp. 64,568,296.

"The Ranita volunteer team has been in Lombok for 17 days from Monday, August 6, 2018," said Lina.

She continued, for the return of the volunteer team, Lien as the Head of the Disaster Management Division said that they would go home if the community could live their lives normally.

Activities that have been carried out by the volunteer team, among others, Lina explained, doing psychosocial activities for children with various activities, such as establishing a public kitchen, setting up an emergency school, conducting learning activities assisted by several local teachers to make MCK and harvesting cloves with residents.

"Coinciding with the month of Hajj and Eid al-Adha, the Ranita team made this moment to do activities as well as worship sacrifices with residents there who were given the name Kurban for Lombok," she said.

From the information obtained by UIN Online News, this Sacrifice for Lombok received funding of Rp. 35 million, including the total donations collected. Sacrifice donations were received from several donors, including employees of PT. Dyke Global mandates to donate two cows and three goats, Chandra Ariati Dewi or commonly known as Ria Irawan contributes a goat, and Camila binti Soleh Ahmad Yahya also contributes a goat.

The distribution of sacrificial animals, totaling five of them, was distributed to several small villages in Santong Village and Sesait Village. Temposodo received sacrificial animals, a cow and two goats, Waker received a cow, Santong Timur received a goat, Mentari Timur, Sesait Village received a goat, and Pansorbat Hamlet received a goat.

Meanwhile, Herman, as the Head of the Temposodo Village, expressed his gratitude to the Ranita volunteers who were the donors and donors, not only the sacrificial animals, but also other donations.

Lina said, the Ranita volunteer team was happy to be able to distribute sacrificial animal donations at several points of refuge in the village around Santong Village, because today is an important moment to be celebrated by Muslims in this village.
