KKN participants Holds Seminar on Drugs
Bogor, UIN NEWS Online - Asian Youth Day which is celebrated on August 1, 2018 is used as a momentum for participants of UIN Jakarta Community Service (KKN) in Cisarua Village, Sukajaya, Bogor, West Java, to hold a Narcotics Seminar. The activity titled "Building a Young Drug-Free Generation Through Student Movement" was held at Muhammadiyah Middle School , Wednesday (08/01/2018) and featured a speaker from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Rika Indrianti Roamer.
In her presentation, Rika Indrianti Roamer explained about the meaning of drugs, types of drugs, and other addictive substances. "We give understanding to students so they don't try. We also provide information about the impact of drug use," she said.
The Chairperson of the Seminar Organizing Committee, Wina said that the seminar was aimed at making students and other young people understand about the dangers of drugs. They are also expected to know, understand, and understand about other addictive and psychotropic substances.
"In the current era of globalization there is a lot of juvenile delinquency, mainly due to environmental influences. Through this seminar, we hope the teenagers will not affected by all of the bad things, especially drugs," he said.
