KKN Participants Hold Sakinah Family Counseling

Tangerang,   UIN NEWS Online - For the sake of the realization of a sakinah family in Ketapang Village, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, participants of the UIN Jakarta community service (KKN), held an outreach program on Tuesday (07/31/2018)  to the public about Islamic family law . The event, which was attended by villagers and several village officials, presented by Ali Mansur, an Islamic law lecturer from the Faculty of Sharia and UIN Jakarta Law as the speaker.

To UIN NEWS Online, the committee chairman Rasyid Rahmat hoped this event could provide an understanding to the public about the rights and responsibilities in fostering a daily Islamic family. "With sakinah family,  we hope the community can obtain justice and prosperity which is blessed by Allah SWT," he said.

In his remarks, Ketapang Village Chief Ahmad Nasuhi asked village officials to continue to play an active role in helping to socialize their citizens regarding the meaning of the sakinah family. "I hope after understanding about sakinah family,  the heads of RT and RW can deliver it back to their citizens, " said Ahmad .

Meanwhile, Ali Mansur in his lecture revealed,   sakinah   has the meaning of calmness, tranquility of the heart, and peace in the family. As for the characteristics of the sakinah family are peaceful and decorated with affection.

"Sakinah family  is a family that is blessed by Allah SWT. Because the family cater to their respective roles according to their rights and obligations," he said. (usa)
