Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Center for Community Servive (PPM) UIN Jakarta expects the students and lecturers involved in the 2021 Community Service (KKN) program can produce academic publications as well as carry out optimal community service. It is hoped that this publication will help improve the UIN Jakarta’s academic climate from a social service perspective.
This was said by the KKN program coordinator of PPM UIN Jakarta Rahmi Fitriyanti to UIN News Online on Thursday (04/08/2021).
“The expected output of the 2021 KKN is the students can produce community service activities reports in the form of an ISBN indexed book and uploading their video activities in social media,” she said.
The service report that is recorded can be compiled by recording all the service activities they carry out. In addition, the report can also describe the location of service activities as well as what potentials that can be explored and optimized.
The same thing is expected from the KKN supervisory lecturers. Student service activities that are synergized with community service and lecturer research can be optimized into ready-to-publish journal reports.
“Publications by students and lecturers are expected to build a positive image for UIN Jakarta as well as a real contribution to the community,” she said.
For information, following the Covid 19 pandemic, KKN activities are designed to allow the students carrying out community service activities in their respective residence. (usa/zm)
