KARS: UIN Syarif Hidayatullah's Jakarta Hajj Hospital Achieves Plenary Accreditation

Rectorate Building, UIN News Online- UIN Syarif Hidayatullah's Jakarta Hajj Hospital has achieved Plenary level accreditation from the Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS). This accreditation is expected to continue to spur the improvement of quality and patient safety as well as hospital governance and services.

The achievement of Plenary accreditation was delivered directly by the Executive Chairman of KARS, Dr. dr. Sutoto M.Kes, in a letter addressed to the President Director of Hajj Hospital Jakarta UIN Syarif Hidayatullah on November 21. KARS accreditation of the Hajj Hospital itself took place on the 14th, 16th and 17th of November 2023.

"In connection with the implementation of the accreditation survey at the Jakarta Hajj General Hospital on November 14, 16, 17, 2023, we hereby inform you that your hospital has successfully passed the Plenary Level which is valid until November 13, 2027," he said in a copy of the letter obtained by UIN News Online, Friday (24/11/2023).

The recommendation of the accreditation survey results from the surveyor, he continued, will be submitted to the Jakarta Hajj Hospital of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah after the issuance of the electronic certificate and the Jakarta Hajj Hospital of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah itself makes a Strategic Improvement Plan (PPS). By the Jakarta Hajj Hospital UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, the PPS must be sent within a maximum of 45 days after receiving the electronic certificate and survey result recommendations.

Separately, Plt. Director of Jakarta Hajj Hospital UIN Syarif Hidayatullah dr. Flori Ratna Sari, Ph.D. welcomed the accreditation of Jakarta Hajj Hospital UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. "Alhamdulillah, New Hajj Hospital Jakarta UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is perfectly accredited PARIPURNA from KARS," she said.

Director Flori added, the acquisition of Plenary accreditation is the result of the full support of the leadership as well as the hard work of the entire hospital community and the academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In addition, the achievement of accreditation is also a commitment of all parties to improve the quality and safety of patients and transform the quality of health services.

"Hopefully, the New Hajj Hospital Jakarta UIN Syarif Hidayatullah which has been liquidated and fully accredited will become the legacy of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta," he added.

UIN Jakarta Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar M.A. Ph.D appreciated the entire team of UIN Jakarta Hajj Hospital and UIN Jakarta academic community who have worked hard and fully supported the hospital's accreditation efforts.

"Alhamdulillah. This is an important series in improving the governance and services of UIN Jakarta Hajj Hospital so that it continues to advance," he said.

This accreditation achievement, Rector Asep Jahar hopes, can continue to be balanced with commitment and hard work in improving the quality of governance and services of UIN Jakarta Hajj Hospital. "Hopefully UIN Jakarta Hajj Hospital will continue to develop," he hoped.

It is known, previously UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has officially liquidated the Jakarta Hajj Hospital (RS) so that it is integrated with the name of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Hajj Hospital. This was authorized through the Letter of the Director General of General Legal Administration a.n. Minister of Law and Human Rights Number AHU/-AH.01.03-00518 dated September 27, 2023 on the Termination of Legal Entity Status of PT Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta (in liquidation).

The letter was issued in response to a request from the liquidator team as well as a letter from Notary Ilmiawan Dekrit S., S.H., M.H. in Jakarta Number 009/SL.NOT/ILM/IX/2023 dated September 14, 2023.

After the completion of liquidation, Rector Asep Jahar emphasized UIN Jakarta's commitment to continue strengthening the services of RS Haji Jakarta for the public as well as a research laboratory in the fields of medicine, research, and related sciences. "Hopefully in the future UIN Jakarta Hajj Hospital will become a place of excellent health services for the community.
