Jakarta Hajj Hospital is is deginated as a Network Teaching Hospital of FK UIN Jakarta
Rectorate, UIN News Online – Following the transfer of management, Jakarta Hajj Hospital is now officially designated as a network Teaching Hospital (RSP) for the Faculty of Medicine (FK) UIN Jakarta. Meanwhile, Fatmawati Hospital, which has been working together for a long time, remains the Main RSP. The Jakarta Hajj Hospital will become a new learning and practice facility for FK students in addition to several other network hospitals.
The designation og Jakarta Hajj Hospital as a network RSP is outlined in the cooperation agreement (PKS) which was signed tripartitely between UIN Jakarta a.q. FK, Fatmawati Hospital, and Jakarta Hajj Hospital in the Main Meeting Room of the Rectorate Building, Wednesday (06/02/2021).
The cooperation document was signed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Director of Fatmawati Hospital Azhar Jaya, and Director of Jakarta Hajj Hospital Andi Wahyuningsih Attas witnessed by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Zulkifli, Vice Rector for General Administration Ahmad Rodoni, Vice Rector for Cooperation anf Institutional Development Lily Surayya Eka Putri, Dean of FK UIN Jakarta Hari Hendarto, AAKK Bureau Chief Jaenuddin, Deputy Deans of FK UIN Jakarta, and Head of the Physician Professional Education Study Program Femmy Nurul Akbar.
The collaboration between Fatmawati Hospital and FK UIN Jakarta has actually been going on since 2006. The collaboration was carried out to make Fatmawati Hospital as the Main RSP. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Hajj Hospital has officially become a network hospital after the recent transfer of management by UIN Jakarta.
In addition, FK UIN Jakarta also has another network RSP. The implementation of its educational activities is under the coordination of Fatmawati Hospital as the Main RSP. Among them are Bhayangkara TK I Hospital Dr Soekanto Polri, Cisarua Hospital, Bogor, Dr Suharto Heerdjan Mental Hospital Jakarta, Dr Chasbullah Abdulmajid Hospital Bekasi City, Dr Marzuki Mahdi Hospital, South Tangerang City Hospital.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Hajj Hospital, like other RSPs, will be used as a medium for learning, research, and community service. Jakarta Hajj Hospital, which is now owned by UIN Jakarta, will apply the principles of the Sharia Hospital which is in line with the doctor's education curriculum at FK UIN Jakarta, which integrates religious and secular science.
“With the appointment of the Hajj Hospital as an RSP, it will make it easier to implement the flagship module of FK UIN Jakarta, namely the Hajj and Umrah Medicine module,” said Rector Amany.
Therefore, added the Chancellor, there is a common thread between the knowledge taught at the medical education level and applied science in clinical medical education at Hajj Hospital.
“Apart from having excellent basic in medical and clinical knowledge, FK UIN Jakarta graduates are also highly competent as Indonesian Hajj and Umrah health workers,” she added. (usa/ns)
