Introducing Campus Environment: UIN Jakarta Welcomes Hundreds of Students from Islamic High School (MA) Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor and Formal Religious Education (PDF) Minhaajurrosyidiin Foundation
Diorama Room, UIN News Online - Students from Islamic High School (MA) Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor and Formal Religious Education (PDF) Minhaajurrosyidiin Foundation visited UIN Jakarta to learn more about the university's campus atmosphere. This event took place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Diorama Room on the ground stage of the Harun Nasution Auditorium.
According to UIN News Online, the event was attended by approximately 200 students. Their visit was intended to provide a full overview of the study program and the admissions procedure at UIN Jakarta.
Zaenal Muttaqin, S.Th.I., M.Ag., Head of the Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) at UIN Jakarta, welcomed the group enthusiastically. During his address, he emphasizes the importance of educational institutions and student motivation. Both are critical for supporting students intellectually and mentally during their studies in higher education.
"We are pleased to welcome this visit as part of our efforts to increase access to information about UIN Jakarta. We really encourage students to properly prepare their future," he stated.
The visit began with a variety of activities aimed at giving information about the UIN Jakarta environment. On the UIN Jakarta campus, students were given thorough information about different study programs, admission procedures, scholarship programs, and academic support services. They were also introduced to the Student Activity Unit (UKM), which can help them explore their passions and talents while studying.
Faruq Habibullah Mahdi, S.Pd., the principal of MA Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor, stated that this visit is an important opportunity to capture students' interest. "This visit is really significant to our students. They are given useful information about the registration of new student applicants, so they will be better equipped to continue their studies here," he explained.
Vice Principal for Curriculum at Minhaajurrosyidiin Foundation, Ihsan Latif, S.Hum., emphasized that this visit is part of their job preparation class program.
"Our purpose is to prepare kids for the future. "With this visit, they can become acquainted with higher education options and how to pursue their desired careers," he stated.
UIN Jakarta expects that this visit would be beneficial to all participants, both students and professors, as they plan their future educational stages.
