International Community Service Program Targets Three Countries
Rectorate, UIN News Online – International Community Service (KKN Internasional) Program of UIN Jakarta in 2022 targets three countries. Dozens of UIN Jakarta students are scheduled to carrying out community service program in three countries, namely Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Japan.
This was said by the Coordinator for Community Service of UIN Jakarta Deden Mauli Darajat to UIN News Online, Friday (03/06/2022). “In addition to the regular and religious moderation KKN program, dozens of other students have passed the selection for the International Community Service Program in three countries,” he said.
For International KKN in Saudi Arabia, he said, three students had passed the selection. The three are Said Dary Rizfa (Science of Hadith), Anisa Nurul Hidayat (Study of the Qur’an and Tafsir), and Deni Maulana (Dirasat Islamiyah).
Furthermore, for the International Community Service Program in South Korea, six students were selected. Among them are Fadia Alaniah and Widaad Rahma Sofia (Dirasat Ismaiyah), Muhammad Rizky Fitriyadi (Management), Muhammad Aziz Herdiansyah and Mahlulatul Mufidah (Study of the Koran and Tafsir), and Mira Amirah (Comparative Schools of Islamic Jurisprudence).
The four participating students will go to Japan. They are Idul Akbar, Kebba Lang Sonko, and Muhammad Falih (Dirasat Islamiyah) and Dhyrar al-Arief Fadia (Sharia Economics).
Furthermore, Deden, who is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FIDIKOM) UIN Jakarta, reminded that students who pass the selection of the International Community Service program to immediately prepare all the necessary needs.
For information, UIN Jakarta has re-opened the International Community Service Program after two years of being closed following the global Covid-19 pandemic. The International Community Service Program itself is scheduled to take place between July and August. (zm/usa)
