Information and Public Relation Center of UIN Jakarta Showcases Campus Facilities and Student Services
Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News — Head of the Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Zaenal Muttaqin S.Th.I., M.Ag., introduced UIN Jakarta as the first State Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKIN) in Indonesia—a national role model for its comprehensive development. Upholding the motto Innovation, Green, and Humanity, this message was delivered during the Introduction to Academic Culture and Student Affairs (PBAK) 2025 on Wednesday (August 27, 2025).
Zaenal highlighted various services and achievements of UIN Jakarta, including its national and international accreditations, modern infrastructures that support the green campus initiative such as water drinking fountains, solar panels, and electric buses (Bilis). Additionally, he showcased the extensive information systems managed by PIH.
"Our Public Relations and Information Center manages several WhatsApp Channels and information platforms. Make the best use of them and always refer to these official channels," he explained.
Regarding facilities management, he urged new students to report any infrastructure complaints via the Integrated Facilities and Infrastructure Management System (SIMANTRA). Furthermore, the university also operates SIWALI (WhatsApp Information Service System), where students can report issues related to admissions, academic services, or class-related matters.
Zaenal further emphasized the importance of reporting any form of violence, particularly sexual harassment, to the Gender and Child Study Center (PSGA), which serves as the main reporting hub for students.
"UIN Jakarta will not tolerate such violation," he firmly stated.
Additionally, the ASPIRASI service remains open for aspirations, suggestions, critiques, and feedback from the academic community. To keep up with technological developments, UIN Jakarta also maintains a strong presence on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Channel, and its official website as platforms to disseminate information to the public.
The existence of this leading program service facility is expected to help and provide maximum support to overcome all the challenges of UIN Jakarta students' studies.
