IKALUIN Targets 1000 Alumni and Employees to Get Free Vaccines

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta Alumni Association (IKALUIN) is targeting 1000 alumni and UIN Jakarta employees to get free vaccinations on Thursday, July 22, 2021.

Secretary General of IKALUIN Rizaludin Kurniawan to UIN News Online on Thursday (07/15/2021), said that the vaccination program is part of IKALUIN's efforts in accelerating  the national vaccination program towards a healthy and Covid-19-free Indonesia.

“This free vaccination program is intended for 1000 alumni and academic community of UIN Jakarta. I hope the implementation will go smoothly according to the plan,” said Rizaludin.

The program, continued Rizaludin, was carried out by IKALUIN in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine (FK) and the Faculty of Health Sciences (Fikes) UIN Jakarta. Researchers and medical personnel of the two faculties will be involved in carrying out the vaccination program.

Participants must first register through https://bit.ly/vaccinIKALUIN no later than July 18, 2021. In addition, prospective vaccination participants must also show an electronic identity card (e-KTP). Meanwhile, those who do not have an e-KTP can bring a copy of the Family Identitity Card (KK).

Based on UIN News Online observation, the free vaccination program complements the IKALUIN social service program in this era of the Covid 19 pandemic. In addition to free vaccinations, IKALUIN also organizes a donation program to support the health workers.

This support was carried out by IKALUIN by holding a fundraising program entitled “BantUIN Nakes, Berbagi Kasih untuk Pejuang Pandemi”. According to the Chairman of IKALUIN Jakarta TB Ace Hasan Syadzily, the fundraising is expected to encourage public awareness to jointly break the chain of Covid-19 infection.

The funds that have been raised, said Ace, will be distributed to health workers who work at Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital or Puskesmas (Community health center) around UIN Jakarta.
