Hundeds of MAN 2 Malang Students Visit UIN Jakarta

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – 357 students of Madrasah Ayah Negeri (MAN) 2 Malang, East Java, visited the UIN Jakarta campus on Tuesday (08/09/2022).

The visit, which was made in order to find information about new student admissions at UIN Jakarta, was led directly by the Head of MAN 2 Malang, Mohammad Husnan and accompanied by Deputy Head for Public Relations Ahmad Thohir Yoga, Deputy Head for Student Affairs Anita Yusianti, and a number of teachers.

Mohammad Husnan in his remarks said that the visit to UIN Jakarta was an annual routine agenda for the school called "Sujabajo" (Surabaya, Jakarta, Bandung and Yogyakarta).

“I hope that with this visit the students can think more carefully about their choice of entering a state university after they graduate,” said Husnan.

Meanwhile, Public Relations officer of UIN Jakarta, Taufan Maulana Firdaus in his presentation said that UIN Jakata is one of the leading state universities under the supervision of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. UIN Jakarta has 12 faculties and 56 undergraduate study programs, four professional study programs, 19 masters programs and four doctoral programs.

Most of the study programs at UIN Jakarta have been accredited by an “A” accreditation status and are in great demand by prospective students, from MA, SMA, SMK and Islamic boarding schools.

“For admission, UIN Jakarta uses seven admission types, namely SNMPTN, SPAN-PTKIN, SBMPTN, UM-PTKIN, SMM-PTN Barat, Independent Admission, as well as a scholarship collaboration program with the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and local governments,” said Taufan. (ns/dima/usa)
