HMPS PAI Holds Scientific Writing Workshop
FITK, UIN News Online – Student Association of Islamic Education Study Program (HMPS-PAI) FITK UIN Jakarta holds scientific writing workshop titled “Meningkatkan Kompetensi Mahasiswa dalam Penulisan Karya Ilmiah” on Tuesday (09/27/2022) held at FITK thearter room, campus I of UIN Jakarta.
Heasd of PAI Study Program Abdul Haris in his opening remarks provide important messages for students related to various scientific works, active in reading and seeking information, as well as the characteristics and standards of writing scientific papers.
“Scientific works consist of various kinds, research papers are also one of them. So everything we write must have a clear basis and source that can be trusted, the writing must also be in accordance with good and correct rules,” said Abdul Haris.
A speech was also given by the the chair of organizing committee, Elva Kemala Fauziah. In her speech, she expressed her gratitude for the implementation of the offline scientific work workshop. She also hopes that this activitycan add insight and improve good and correct writing skills for PAI UIN Jakarta students.
Moderated by Miftahul Huda, a 3rd semester student of PAI UIN Jakarta, this workshop invited an expert speaker in the field of writing, namely Nana Meily Nurdiansyah.
This activity was held with the aim of creating new PAI students who have knowledge about standardization and how to write scientific papers, especially papers, in accordance with good and correct writing rules.
In his presentation, Nana said that writing scientific papers is a mandatory requirement that must be mastered by students. He also added that he also added that there are several provisions in making scientific papers, especially papers that must be followed.
He also encouraged students not to copy and paste other people's papers. Because this is a dishonorable act, students of Islamic Education in particular must be able to be honest in making paper.
